Description

Single room in flat for rent. Share a 2 bedroom flat with 1 other female who works part-time and studies part-time. It's a very relaxed and quiet household and it would suit someone who wants the same. Moving in date is from 28th August. All bills are included (council tax, gas, electric, WiFi). There is a washing machine to share between two, and a freezer just for your use. There is also a fridge for your own use. Short term is ok (9-12 months). And if you want to stay longer, this could be possible. We are quite flexible. There is a beautiful park at the back of the flat, and a large green area in the front - although it looks more yellow at the moment with all the heatwaves :( Another lovely thing about this flat: We are south facing and have some beautiful trees that shade the flat in summer. Therefore, it's always a cool flat in summer. The trees become bare in winter, so you can see the whole park, which is really cool if it snows. :) Btw, the last photo is how the room could look with a slim wardrobe inserted and a desk. Obviously it won't look as nice as that, but it gives you an idea if you want a wardrobe and / or a desk. We will buy these for you and rearrange the room. Very close to shops and park. There are excellent transport links: Acton Central (4 minute walk to Mildmay line for Richmond, Clapham Junction, Highgate), East Acton (17 minute walk to the Central line), Acton Main Line (21 minute walk to the Elizabeth line), Turnham Green (24 minute walk to the District line), Acton Town (25 minute walk to the Piccadilly line). The buses are great too: 207 to Shepherd's Bush 94 to Piccadilly 7 to the Science museum, the Natural History museum and the Victoria and Albert museum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the message button on the listing to introduce yourself to the room lister. Free users can send a limited number of messages per month. With Membership you can message any listing without limits and respond to new rooms first thanks to Early Bird access. A good first message says who you are, when you want to move in, how long you plan to stay, and one or two things about your lifestyle that match the listing.
Look for the Verified badge on the profile, it means the room lister has completed identity verification. Read the full listing, check the lifestyle preferences on each existing flatmate's profile, and review the photos of the room and shared spaces. Always arrange a viewing in person or by video call before sending any money, and never pay a deposit or holding fee before you have signed a tenancy agreement.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Ask the room lister for a viewing in person, or for a live video tour if you are out of town. Use the viewing to meet the existing flatmates and ask about bills, house rules, and the rest of the household. A genuine room lister will always offer some form of viewing.
The listing shows the monthly rent and whether bills are included. Where bills are included, this usually covers utilities and internet. Confirm with the room lister exactly what is and is not included, and whether there is a deposit, a holding fee, or any agency fees on top.
You and the room lister agree on a move-in date and sign a tenancy agreement directly, the same way you would on any other room-share platform. Dwelles is a marketplace that connects you. The contract, deposit protection, and reference checks remain between you and the room lister. If anything looks suspicious, report the listing and stop communicating.
