Where can I list a room for free?
You can list a room for free on Dwelles, a platform for rooms and flatshares. There is no listing fee or commission, renters message you directly, and your ad is featured for its first 30 days.
What can I list?
A room in a shared house or flat, a spare room in your own home, a whole flat or house, or a studio. The form asks which one it is.
Do I have to pay to list or to get messages?
No. Listing a room and replying to renters are both free. Dwelles Membership is an optional subscription, and you don't need it to list.
Does Dwelles handle the rent or deposit?
No. Dwelles is not a letting agent. You agree the rent, the deposit and any contract directly with your tenant, and that money never passes through Dwelles.
How long until my ad goes live?
Every ad is reviewed before it appears, which usually doesn't take long. If you later change the title, photos or description, the ad is hidden for a quick review until it is approved again.
How long does my ad stay up?
An ad posted through our form stays live until you take it down.
I already advertise elsewhere. Do I have to start again?
No. Send us the link to your post and we build the listing from its photos and details. You don't need an account, and we publish most listings the same day.
